Shok Divas observed at Biswanath

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, August 16: Shoka Divas was observed at the office of the deputy commissioner, Biswanath today in memory of innocent children and common people who lost their lives in the bomb blast at the parade ground of Dhemaji on August 15, 2004. Lowering the tri-colour, one minute silence was observed. An oath taking ceremony was held at the conference hall of the DC office wherein deputy commissioner Munindra Nath Nagatey, ADC Dr. Shurjya Kamal Bora, assistant commissioner Ananya Lahkar, Treasury officer Tapanjit Deka beside other employees read out the pledge.
