IIE celebrates 76th Independence Day

Staff Reporter, Guwahati, August 16: Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), an autonomous body under the ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India celebrated the 76th Independence Day of the country, with patriotic fervour at its campus in Guwahati. Dr Lalit Sharma Director IIE hoisted the national flag amidst the singing of the national anthem by IIE’s employees and their families. Addressing the gathering of the institute, the director paid rich tribute to the martyrs, legendary leaders and freedom fighters that made valiant sacrifices to attain India’s independence. Dr Sharma in his speech thanked the employees for their contribution in nation building and encouraged them to keep up the good work in the space of entrepreneurship promotion. An art competition amongst the children of the staff and employees was also held on the occasion.
