North Lakhimpur, August 16: Nazamal Hussain (67), a resident of Town Bantow,ward no.14, North Lakhimpur town passed away at 7-00 a.m. in Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in this morning due to heart attack. He joined the Town M.E. Madrassa, North Lakhimpur (now Town High Madrassa)as the founder Headmaster on April 1,1977 and retired from this institution on January 31,2015. He also joined as the founder Superintendent of Town High Madrassa, North Lakhimpur on January 1,1980. Loved and respected by all, late Hussain was closely associated with several educational, social and religious institutions of the area. He leaves behind his wife, a married son, two married daughters and a host of relatives. The news of his death cast a pall of gloom in the entire North Lakhimpur. His Janaja was performed at North Lakhimpur Town Kabarasthan at 5-00 p.m. in the presence of a large number of people today. Earlier, late Nazamal Hussain's dead body was brought from the AMCH to North Lakhimpur Town High Madrassa directly and the teachers, employees and students of the institution paid homage to his dead body.
