Majuli, August 11: Upper Majuli Circle Officer Nabajyoti Das and District Transport Officer jointly organized an awareness rally on wearing helmets and rules and regulations to be followed while traveling in two-wheelers at Jengraimukh on Thursday. The city's departments have launched various programs for the successful implementation of the Har Ghar Tiranga in all parts of the district. Under the supervision of the District Health Department, various awareness programs were organized and banners were put up among all the employees at the project sites under the auspices of the Public Works (Home) Department. The district forest department, fisheries department and social welfare department also conducted similar awareness programs on a large scale. Later, the newly constructed Executive Engineer's Office of "Majuli District Regional Housing Division" of the Public Works and Housing Department was inaugurated at Garmur, Majuli. The inauguration ceremony was attended by District Commissioner Pulak Mahanta, Superintendent of Police Gautam Bora and Executive Engineer of Public Works and Housing Department Santanu Barua.
