"Glorious Journey to Freedom" in Margherita

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, August 13: On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Independence, the Congress party today took out the "glorious journey of independence" in Margarita. On the eve of the 75th Independence Day, an auspicious march titled "Glorious Journey of Independence" has been taken out across the state from August 9 to August 14 to coincide with the 75th anniversary of India's independence.The "Padyatra" programme was also implemented in Margherita Assembly constituency at the initiative of Margherita Block Congress Committee this morning on the directions of the All India Congress Committee. Assam Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Arun Jain and several office-bearers of Congress parties participated in the programme.
