Hojai, August 17: On the occasion of 75th Glorious years of Independence marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav a All Assam Essay Competition is going to be orgainsed at the noble initiative of Muhammad Sirajuddin Ajmal, MLA, Jamunamukh, a press release stated here on Wednesday. As per the release, the topic of the essay is " ROLE OF MUSLIMS IN THE FREEDOM STRUGGLE OF INDIA'' and the prize money for the competition is Ist Prize- Rs . 75,000; 2nd Prize- Rs. 50,000; 3rd Prize- Rs. 25,000 and ten numbers of quality articles which have not considered from the above awards will be awarded as special consolation prize of Rs. 10,000 / - for each. According to the release, rules and guidelines of the competition are Students of University, College and Madrassa can only participate in this competition, the essay of the given topic to be composed in 2500 words either in English or Assamese or Urdu or Hindi language. And, less or more than this word limit will not be accepted. The participant has to mention Name, Guardian Name, Institution Name, Contact No. and Address of the essay writers must be presented in his / her submission or else the participant will be disqualified from the competition. The release adds that the words and contents of the essay are clear enough to read and understand. typed / DTP contents would be preferred. The essays received after the stipulated date would not be entertained. The Winner must submit his / her authentic Institutional ID Card / Proof at the time of receiving the Prize Money. Release further adds that the results will be declared after October 31 next and it will be published in the Newspaper / periodicals / social media.
