Tinsukia, July 12: Allegations have started over the death of a youth at a rehabilitation center in Margherita Bargolai. TYPA opposes protests amid the administration investigation process and demands arrest of the centre owner.The complaint begins with the death of a youth at the rehabilitation center in Borgolai, Margherita. Devjit Payeng (28) of Jagun Udaipur was allegedly mysteriously dead two hours after he was admitted to the rehabilitation center in Margherita Bargolai.After the death of the youth, Rupam gogoi, director of the rehabilitation center in Borgolai, Margherita led by the SMSS was protested against the 315 no.national highway blockade demanding his arrest.TYPA reacted strongly by organizing a press conference to protest against it today. Addressing the press conference, Jana Handiqoi , president of the subdivision committee of the TYPA, expressed grief over the death of the youth of Payang and strongly opposed the protest and demand for the arrest of the centre's owner Rupam Gogoi amid the administration's investigation process.It made it clear through a press conference that Rupam gogoi's attempt to undermine this noble effort by starting the rehabilitation center in 2014 and bringing thousands of addicts back to normal life from a dark future will not be accepted TYPE. However, the organization also made it clear that there was no objection to Rupam Gogoi being punished if convicted after a legal inquiry.It is hearthtonote that Rupam Gogoi is a much talked about name in social life.The entire constituency has gained familiarity by contributing huge amounts to various social events. It has also been gaining a reputation by treating many addicts at the centre for free treatment.However, the circumstances under which Abhijeet Payang's case came to be and how guilty Rupam Gogoi is for it will be clear only after the administration's investigation process.
