Assam CM Dr. Sarma felicitates Dibrugarh coaching students under scholarship scheme

Staff Reporter, Dibrugarh/Guwahati, June 15: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed great enthusiasm over the recent achievements of students from the Dibrugarh Coaching Centre, operated under the Assam State Youth Commission's Bikoxito Jibon Porikolpona Scheme. During the felicitation ceremony held this morning in Dibrugarh, the Chief Minister praised the students for their outstanding performance and reiterated his commitment to providing top-tier coaching facilities for students across the state."The recent results from our Dibrugarh Centre run by Assam State Youth Commission under the Bikoxito Jibon Porikolpona Scheme have been very encouraging," said Chief Minister Sarma. "I want to see many more students from Assam entering IITs and AIIMS. To achieve this, we'll offer the best coaching facilities to students from poor and middle-class families across the state."Addressing the media, the Chief Minister elaborated on the new initiative aimed at empowering students to secure seats in prestigious medical and engineering colleges nationwide. "A new initiative to empower our students so that they can get seats in renowned medical and engineering colleges across the country. Our state youth commission has taken a step to establish various coaching centres for the middle class and poor students at a very nominal fee but with the help of the most outstanding coaching institute of the country," he said.The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of making high-quality education accessible to all, regardless of their economic background. "Today we have seen an important result from the Dibrugarh centre and I am sure in days to come in the entire state this network will work, and we can see a lot of Assamese students in national important institutes like IIT, IIM, AIIMS, etc.," he added.This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Assam State Youth Commission to enhance educational opportunities for students throughout the state. By partnering with leading coaching institutes and making their services available at a nominal fee, the commission aims to level the playing field and help students from all backgrounds achieve their academic goals.The success of the Dibrugarh Centre serves as a promising indicator of the potential impact of this initiative.
