Pijush Hazarika inaugurates land patta distribution ceremony in Biswanath

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, February 24: Pijush Hazarika, state cabinet minister for water resources, Information & Public Relations, Parliamentary Affairs today formally inaugurated the land patta distribution ceremony at Biswanath and Behali LAC’s of Biswanath district under Mission Basundhara 2.0. In this connection two separate meetings were held at Borgang for Behali LAC and at Biswanath Chariali for Biswanath LAC respectively. The guardian minister had formally inaugurated the land patta distribution ceremony at Srimanta Sankardev auditorium, Borgang at 11.30 and distributed land pattas to the beneficiaries of Biswanath LAC in a public meeting held at Kamala Kanta Khetra here. Addressing both the public meetings, minister Hazarika stated about the benefits of Mission Basundhara 2.0 and how the indigenous people have been benifited by the mega mission of the state government. Dr Neha Jadav, district commissioner of Biswanath forwarded welcome address in both the public meetings. MLA’s Ranjit Dutta and Pramod Borthakur addressed the public gathering in their respective LAC’s. It is to be mentioned here that a total of 3313 beneficiaries of Biswanath and 2634 from Behali have been benefitted from this mission. The chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will distributed land pattas for the people of Gohpur LAC on February 27. A total of 13, 925 people will be benefitted from the Mission Basundhara 2.0 from Biswanath, Behali and Gohpur LAC’s under Biswanath district. The inaugural sessions were attended by former minister cum chairman of Seed Corporation Prabin Hazarika, Amarjyoti Borthakur, Dr Ranjan Gogoi, ADC Dhrubajyoti Das, Diganta Ghatowar among others.
