Seminar on career counseling held at Samar Dalani

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, June 27: A one-day seminar on ‘Career Guidance and Counseling’ and ‘Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health’ organized by Career Guidance Cell in collaboration with the Youth and Eco-Club of Dakhin Nagsankar High School, Samar Dalani near here was held today in the conference hall of the school with Ballav Chapagain, headmaster of the school in the chair. Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, principal of Biswanath College graced the seminar as a resource person who provided basic information about career opportunities. Dr Sharma further stated about the need of mental health education in the educational institutions and importance of mental wellbeing for overall development of one and all. The session was attended by Chandan Upadhyaya, president of SMDC, parents, guardians, teachers and the students of the school. Anjan Baskota, nodal teacher of Youth and Eco Club conducted the proceedings while Mina Thapa, nodal teacher of Career Guidance Cell offered a vote of thanks.
