Selection for 5th Assam Pencak Silat Championship held

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, November 1: A selection camp along with a training camp was held in Tinsukia district of the 5th Assam Pansak Silat Championship on Monday. The 5th Assam Pansak Silat Championship will be held at Silapathar from November 5 to 9. Bhagwati Bhagwan High School in Tinsukia Balugadar concluded on Monday with a one-day programme.Around 75 children were selected and trained in the event. Manoj Shah, general secretary of the Pensak Silat Association of Tinsukia district along with coach Gungun Yadav, were present as trainers. The selection camp and training camp were attended by trainers Manoj Shah and Gungun Yadav, Principal of Omega English Academy Bikash Chetri and Principal of Bhagwati Bhagwan High School, R.P. Rai was present.
