3 held with weapons in Jakhalabandha

Staff reporter, Kaliabor, October 12: Based on secret information Jakhalabandha police conducted an operation and three persons were nabbed along with a handmaid gun, sharp weapons and food items from No.2 line underShakmuthia Tea Estate in Kaliabor. The arrested persons have been identified as Pawan Das, Kedaar Das and Lakhindar Mandal. According to the police, three persons had settled in the area with a plan to kill the rhinos in the Kaziranga National Park. A Mohan Tant supplied the weapon, was also arrested by the Jakhalabandha police on the basis of the confession of the arrested persons.
