Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: Biswanath college conducts Bike rally

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, August 13: A bike rally was organized today by Biswanath College Students’ Union from Biswanath College to Biswanath Ghat to mark the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, a nationwide campaign initiated by the central government. The rally was formally inaugurated by Biswajit Saikia, ADC, Biswanath. The rally was headed by Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of the college and joined by Ramananda Bora, Vice Principal, Prof Ajit Dutta, Prof Taranath Mahanta besides all office bearers of Biswanath college students union and other teachers and employees. A procession too was brought out by the students of the Zoology department today. Teachers, students, and other employees of the college also participated in the rally.
