Tiranga selling point inaugurated at Margherita

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, July 29: Margherita: In order to encourage and increase participation in the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, Tiranga Selling Points were inaugurated today by Pranta Pratim Patra, Assistant Commissioner, Margherita and Shri. Runal Nath in the premises of O/o SDO(C), Margherita and O/o Circle Officer, Margherita respectively.Opened for easy availability of the National Tricolour with subsidized price, the selling points are managed by the Self- Help Groups under the DAY-NULM scheme in collaboration with the Margherita Municipal Board. The Tiranga Selling points would be set up in all the wards of the Margherita MB and other prominent places within the next few days.Under the Har Ghar Tiranga scheme, citizens can hoist the National Flag from 13th-15th August at homes, offices, business institutions as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating the 75 years of India's freedom. This campaign aims to invoke the feelings of patriotism in each citizen and promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
