Kakopather Press Club submits memorandum for various problems of Kakopathar

Hrishikesh Dutta, Kakopather, July 27: Kakopather which is known as 'Land of Unity and Culture' is also flooded with tons of issues and problems. Kakopather Press Club has came forward to step against a few of these problems specially related to the Daily Market and Town of Kakopather. Although the Kakopather Daily Market which has an yearly auction of twelve to fourteen lakhs and the Kakopathar Town falls under the management of Tinsukia Zila Parishad and Kakopathar Anchalik Panchayat, no work on development and sanitary is seen taken till date for which it has transformed to look like a municipal garbage dump yard rather than a daily market. Therefore a team of officials of Kakopather Press Club has submitted memorandums to the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia District and to the Chief Executive Officer of Tinsukia Zila Parishad. The memorandum contains a few demands by the club to take strict action against the ill issues of the market. Their first demand is to make the daily market of Kakopather clean as soon as possible which has already transformed to a garbage dump yard , including the area where the bazar committee tolls taxes from the vendors and hawkers. They have also urge the administration to set a strict law towards the market to keep it clean , healthy and hygiene permanently as Kakopather Higher Secondary School is beside the daily market and the dirt and smell of the garbage has created a question towards the health of the students including the public of Kakopather shopping and marketing in the daily market. Their second demand is to evict the illegally established public houses occupying the area of the Kakopathar Daily Market .
The third demand is to allot a room in the market to one of the powerful press organizations of the district 'Kakopathar Press Club' legally ,to set up their office house. The fourth demand on the memorandum urges to set a strict law and action against all the illegal liquor business that has been seen rising dramatically in the Kakopather Daily Market. Moreover it is also seen that few businessmen and street vendors on both sides of the highway of Kakopathar Town have extended their business houses or shops so far to the near of the highway that a major traffic issue has arised creating the town a great havoc thereby welcoming major accidents in near future. So The fifth and the last demand of the Club is to set strict laws against it and evict the illegally extended business enterprises and shops so as to make the highway free from traffic and accidents. A time period till 5th August is given to the administration for their strict action regarding the demands or issues mentioned on the memorandum by the Kakopather Press Club or else a vigorous protest by the club along with all the other union bodies of Kakopather will be carried out as all these issues were previously informed to the administration by many, but no action is seen taken till date. People of Kakopather are seen admiring Kakopathar Press Club for taking such great initiatives.
