Drunken son hacked to death by his father at Nagaon Borkula

Bureau Report, Nagaon, July 23: Sensation prevailed at Nagaon Borkula village after a drunken youth was hacked to death by his father in the village on July 21. Meanwhile Raha police rushed to the spot this morning and arrested the accused father, sources added. Sources claimed that Bijendra Singh was a habitual drinker and created rukus every evening at his house. Being intoxicated with alcohol, he created an inconvenient situation in his home on Thursday evening too and indulged in a quarrel with his father Samser Singh like other days. Amidst the quarrel, Bijendra leaped on his father and tried to attack him with a sword. Having no options, the father Samser Singh too attacked with another sword in self defense. As a result, the son Bijendra died on the spot, sources said.
