Day-long Workshop on Maths Olympiad held at Dekorai

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, July 27: A day-long preparatory workshop on Maths Olympiad was held at Blue Pine English High School, Dekorai under Biswanath district on Tuesday. The workshop convened by the Biswanath branch of Assam Maths Society was chaired by Dr. Arun Chaliha. Shibu Majumdar, principal of the educational institution inaugurated the preparatory workshop on Maths Olympiad was attended by nearly 200 students from various educational institutions of the greater Naduar area. Ripunjay Bordoloi, science teacher of Chengamari High School and secretary of Biswanath branch of Assam Maths Society graced the occasion as a resource person. The maths Olympiad was held in three categories. Pranjal Bordoloi conducted the proceedings of the inaugural session. The educational workshop was attended by teachers from various educational institutions and guardians. The conscious people of the area have praised the initiative taken by the Biswanath branch of Assam Maths Society.
