Drug peddler arrested in Margherita

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, September 8: Police administration intensifies anti-drug drive in Margherita subdivision of Tinsukia district. People involved in drug trafficking are being caught by the police every day.Even today a drug peddler along with brown sugar was arrested near Margherita police station under the supervision of Margherita sub-divisional police officer Hemanta Kumar Boro.The detainee is Anil Saikia of Bordumsa.Police also seized the Maruti car used by Saikia in drug trafficking.
